Will Global Warming impact property values in the Southwest?

I have been hear more conversations in the media regarding the impact of global warming on property values. I just saw a story in Florida about owner that are concerned about their beach front properties being less desirable because of hurricanes and rising sea levels. A similar conversation has started in the Southwest in some of the most arid areas such as Arizona, Nevada and parts of California. Hot summers now would be unbearable if it were another 5 degrees warmer. I can't imagine anyone wanting to move to Phoenix with temperatures a constant 120 degrees in the summer. What do you think?

Stopping Junk Mail from Bank of America

I have tried everything to get BofA to stop sending me their junk mail. I have literally been on the phone for hours. They are like a dumb animal. Seriously if you have any tips on getting Bank of America to stop sending me their crap I would appreciate it.

Compact Fluorescent Bulbs save Money

I replaced 16 light bulbs in my home with the new energy saving fluorescent bulbs. My November bills are usually in the low $60’s range. My bill this month in November 2007 was $42. This is with an increase in energy prices over the previous year. I’m a believer that they do save energy. I bought the bulbs at the dollar store for $1 a piece. They paid for themselves in the first month.

Stopping junk mail from Bank of America

This is a continuation of a previous post from a few months ago. With dozens more phone calls to Bank of America, I have been unable to get their junk mail to stop hitting my mail box. I have spoken with countless people all promising to take me off the list. Needless to say I keep getting it. I have come up with an idea I think might get their attention finally. I am going to sent each pre paid envelope they send me back to them with a 30 pound cinder block. I will keep doing this until I can get someone to call me or they take me off of their list. I’m not trying to be funny, I just want to save paper. I’ll let you know how it goes. I’m calling it my own opt out strategy.
